B Snutch Pritzl says:

Oil pulling does really work well… It can be harmful to your body if not done correctly. Taking these instructions a bit further… It's important to use only 1-2 teaspoons (not tablespoons) of either coconut or sesame oil, so that when it combines with your saliva, there is still plenty of room to "swish". Then spit in garbage. Brush afterwards with a small amount of sea salt (or baking soda) on your toothbrush, using filtered water. The "grit" of the salt cleans very well. Try to buy "organic, cold-pressed" oil – easily below $10 for a large container that lasts a long time. For a very detailed and accurate explanation on oil pulling, Dr. Lina, an Ayurveda Practitioner, has posted on Youtube (27 min, 5/22/14). Oil pulling doesn't replace going to your dentist for regular check-ups and cleanings. It's a healthy, safer alternative to using expensive toothpastes/floss/rinses at home. And If you are a skeptic, just don't do it. (Dr. Lina does address the "research/medical evidence" aspect.)

Can you put it in the microwave and then put it in your month

ScareCrow says:

You should avoid spitting the oil in youre sink, or youre clogg up the pipes in time, remember the oil gets hard again when it cools.. imagine how much you spit out in a month… it wont just magically go away after you spit it out! you should warn people of this… you should spit it into youre garbage bag
